Recently Learning In Social Studies

In 10K Social Studies, we are recently learning about good leadership as you seen in my previous post.
In a group we had to study about any leader of our choice.
My group and I had some difficulties deciding what leader we should study on, so I took responsibility myself and chose to study about Fumio Kishida. He is the prime minister of Japan. He has achieved becoming the Japanese politician who has also served as LDP of Japan. He became prime minister by winning a runoff voting session against many others which then came to the last two participants, Fumio Kishida and Taro Kono, Fumio Kishida won 257 votes to Taro Kono’s 170 votes. He was paid a visit from Jacinda Ardern in 2022. She paid a visit to inform she was going to lead a trade mission to Singapore and Japan to support New Zealand’s economic rebuild through reconnecting with two of its closest Indo-Pacific economic and security partners.
I chose to study him because knowing he is from a whole different country, he’s good at communicating with others and engages smoothly with other world leaders.

Drama Technique

In my PFA class, my Kaiako had set up some work for us. We had to choose a drama technique to make a post about, I chose Body Language. I chose Body Language so I can teach others what kind of technique it is, and how to use it correctly. Body Language can be used effectively: For example, what if you stood up and looked them in the eye, the audience would listen. The audience mostly only pick up about 7 or 70% of the words you are saying because they are too focused on your body language and they way you reveal your body movements, so I thinks its important to use lots of body language along with gestures like hand movements or using your head to communicate along with your words. Knowing how and when to use body language is important to know when acting, body language in acting is important because body language shows the audience what character you are playing. I learned that body language in acting always tells the truth about your character. My goal in PFA is to get more confident in my pairs, and face my fear of being up in front of a bunch of people, I want to be able to do better by the end of this year.
